BCE-CE / BC-AD
The outlines of this website and eBook were drawn up long before any controversy concerning the use of BC ‘Before Christ’ and AD Anno Domini ‘Year of Our Lord’ or the now far more secular CE ‘Common Era’ and BCE ‘Before the Common Era’ formats arose.
Although earlier editions of this website and eBook employed the BCE and CE format, and although CE may mean equally ‘Common’ ‘Current’ or ‘Christian Era’ it has been decided, in a Christian document, to revert to the original BC / AD format in the current website and fourth eBook edition except where, in graphic text .PNG this is neither practical or in some cases possible until such time as I may redevelop the entire site and publication download.
